My name is Joan, and I am a Nurse Practitioner. I am a Vanderbilt University graduate and a native of East Tennessee, having recently returned to the area.
I bring extensive experience in internal medicine and specialized hormone therapy, which I have practiced since 2010. My training includes certification and ongoing continuing education. Having been on hormone therapy myself for 16 years, I offer a deeply knowledgeable and empathetic perspective.
My approach to care is patient-centric, compassionate, and focused above all on listening closely to my clients' needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy paddle boarding, spending time with my three dogs, crocheting, listening to music, dancing, and looking forward to playing pickleball.

I am deeply passionate about preventative health, believing that empowering patients with the right knowledge is key to long-term wellness.
I recently transplanted to East Tennessee and am thrilled to call the Knoxville area home. When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy discovering Knoxville's vibrant food culture, exploring local history and hiking the trails of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
