Bio
Dr. Lee Moorer is a board-certified physician, healthcare entrepreneur, and the Chief Medical Officer of the Castle Rock Hormone Health franchise system. He brings more than two decades of clinical, operational, and entrepreneurial experience to the development and oversight of a physician-led model focused on hormone optimization, anti-aging medicine, regenerative health, and patient-centered wellness.
Dr. Moorer is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and is also board certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM), reflecting his advanced training and commitment to evidence-informed hormone health, longevity medicine, and regenerative clinical care. His background allows him to bridge the traditional reactionary diagnosis-based medical model with a modern, functional, preventative, and optimization-focused approach to patient care.
Clinical Career
After earning his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Dr. Moorer completed residency training at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he served as chief resident in international transport and worked as a flight physician within the University of Chicago aeromedical network.
He later served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine while practicing at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada’s only Level I trauma center at the time. He subsequently practiced emergency medicine in the Denver metropolitan area, including at Saint Anthony Hospital’s Level I trauma center.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
In addition to his clinical background, Dr. Moorer has extensive experience building and scaling healthcare businesses. In 2003, he founded a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center serving patients injured in motor vehicle collisions. In 2006, he launched Denver Urgent Care, later renamed Guardian Urgent Care, which grew into a multi-location urgent care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation platform before being sold in 2015.
This experience gives him a practical understanding of clinic operations, provider management, patient flow, compliance, and scalable medical-service delivery.
Current Role — Chief Medical Officer, Castle Rock Hormone Health
As Chief Medical Officer of Castle Rock Hormone Health, Dr. Moorer oversees:
